Daily Deviation: Why I Fail at School

I have classes each Wednesday so it's going to be harder for me to produce something for Thursday, so I figured I could show you all what my notes look like.

I'm taking a course on Primate Adaptation and Evolution, currently focusing on the skeletal and muscular systems that are currently holding each and every one of you together. I spent the better part of three hours yesterday holding, fondling, and classifying various objects that used to be inside a human body while a reconstructed gorilla skeleton watched from the opposite side of the room. Oh and there's a fetus in a jar in the cabinet but its eyes are closed so it's cool.

While we were discussing how muscles and bones connect to one another or how our bones are actually exceptionally brittle, I drew this. There was literally and expanded skull next to me on the table and I just started drawing it as a still life. Took it into Photoshop and tried to make it look more like a moleskin notebook page.

This is not what Art Students are designed to deal with.
