Description
So, as I've mentioned before, I am officially applying to Nickelodeon studios, among other production companies, and I'm submitting my portfolio later this evening (I feel sick from stress and anticipation). So, to show I don't just draw one way, I started carrying a sketchbook with me to class and start doodling characters in various poses and in different styles to try and develop my skills. These aren't anything special, but I figured you guys might want a peek at some of my portfolio pieces... Even though they're much more SFW than my usual stuff.

Overall
Vision Originality Technique ImpactYour artwork really does shine, especially for cartoon imagery. However, try putting some gradients in as well as some images of scenery. Also, some images with a perspective would also be good for your application. Also do color for some of these. I believe they could be actual characters. Putting all of this together and I am able to assure you that your application will be viewed much more highly. Also, try some softer lines, it makes it seem much more appealing to children. Also, try adding some shadows to your characters, it makes them seem more realistic and appealing.
